Are you called to serve God in some form of servant ministry or leadership? Then you should consider becoming trained as a Lay Servant. Lay Servant ministries is a leadership development program within the United Methodist Church focused on equipping and empowering laypersons who have responded to the call of God to serve in mission and ministry. We are offering Lay Servant training classes here at PSLFUMC. For the first time we will be offering classes during the week. Classes will be offered on Tuesday evenings, 6:30-9:00 pm. Each course will cost $25.00 plus the book. Each course requires 10 hours of class time. To become a certified Lay Servant, it is required to take both the Basic and Advanced Courses within one year’s time.
Basic Course – April 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th
Book required: “Lay Servant Ministries Basic Course”
