Church Garden

The mission of the Church Garden is to grow delicious fresh herbs and vegetables to support the feeding ministries of the church. The work of the garden will be performed by volunteers from within the congregation, including the youth group. The garden is located across the parking lot from the BLC.

We are looking for sponsors to step out in faith and sponsor one square foot of garden space for ten dollars ($10). You may sponsor more than one square foot if you feel led to do so. So far, we have 12 square feet of garden space sponsored. Your sponsorship will provide for the initial supplies to create your square foot of garden bed and the initial planting of herbs and/or vegetables.

All of the gardening will be done by volunteers from within the congregation, including the youth group. Additional expertise will be provided by the University of Florida/Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS).

We look forward to your prayerful consideration in support of this worthwhile ministry. Your support will feed the hungry, provide the youth with an opportunity to serve, and help beautify the church grounds.

Thank you, Rich Moran, United Methodist Men
