 Ash Wednesday Service

 February 14th  ~ 7:00 pm  ~ Sanctuary

Join us as we are called to a season of Self-Examination and Reflection

Hospitality

After many months of discussion and prayer, the Worship Committee with the approval of the Administrative Council, has decided to discontinue the food and coffee portion of hospitality.  This decision did not come lightly; we took many things into account.  The food was originally brought in for fellowship and it worked for a long time.  Now, we are hoping these changes enable us to be more cognizant and present with visitors and members of our congregation. Our last Sunday for the food and coffee will be Sunday, February 18th.  We still encourage you to engage in discussion and fellowship and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.                                                                                                                                                                         Thank you, The Worship Team

The more places you’ll go.”

  Northport Partnership News

We are getting ready to do our book drive for the students at Northport K-8 School, beginning in earnest after the first of the year. This year’s drive will have a couple new twists- we will be joined by the good folks at First Baptist Church in collecting books, and we will be collecting books so that ALL the students gets books for their summer reading! The First Baptist folks will be concentrating their efforts on grades K through 5, and we will concentrate our efforts on the middle school grades 6 through 8. However we will accept books for ANY GRADE so please don’t let that curtail your donations! We recommend combing through thrift stores, garage sales, library sales, or your own kids’ libraries at home. We will gladly accept used books as long as they are not stained or written in (a written dedication inside the cover can be covered with our church sticker). Please help us, once again, to help students who might not have access to a library, or even have books at home that they can read. It DOES make a world of difference in their lives! For more info email Pat Orlandi at pat.orlandi@yahoo.com.
