SECURITY CAMERAS

Upon a recommendation from the Sheriff’s Department, the Trustees have  pursued the option of installing security cameras. Keeping everyone on our campus safe is our goal.  To complete this job, we require an additional $3000. If you would like to make a donation to help defray this expense, please earmark your donation “security cameras.”  Thank you for your continued support of FUMC, The Finance Committee

Joshua; Winning the Worry Battle  by Barb Roose

Wednesday, June 27- August 1 at 1 pm

Facilitator: Kathy Megerle

If you are looking for a summer bible study, we hope you will consider participating in this exciting new study. We all want to know how to have a bold and courageous faith. In Joshua, a six-week, in-depth Bible study, you’ll join God’s people as they arrive on the edge of the Promised Land only to find themselves in hostile territory. You’ll learn how to fight in faith as you internalize God’s promises, draw strength from God’s faithfulness, act in obedience to God’s commands, and believe what our limitless God can do. The study uses tangible objects—including stones and scarlet rope—to remind you of your commitment to overcome worry and to experience God’s victory in your daily struggles and challenges.

Workbooks are required and can be purchased at Cokesbury bookstore.

Order online at www.cokesbury.com or by calling 1-800-672-1789

(Joshua bible study participant workbook, product number #9781501813603,

cost is $11.49 + shipping and handling).

The First United Methodist Church Food Pantry is a joint venture by the congregation of FUMC and the Treasure Coast Food Bank. This is an “Emergency Food Bank”. Our goal is to be able to help our neighbor families with a little food to get them through a rough time or an emergency situation. We have limited resources and therefore cannot provide food on a regular basis. Due to limited resources food help is only available once every three months!
