Our Book Blitz continues with a full head of steam: along with our friends at First Baptist Church of PSL we have collected 2,100 books so far!  We’re almost to our goal of 2,400!  Thank you, book donors, for thinking of our kids in Northport VPK-8 School. We are still collecting books through the end of April and welcome any books in good condition for children kindergarten through 8th grade levels.

What can you do with an extra Sunday?

April’s a special month in 2018. As Christians, we celebrate Christ’s resurrection on April 1st. The promise of that event is the greatest story ever told.  April’s also a month with five Sundays this year. That means you’ll find that extra envelope on April 29th, an envelope for your contribution to the ongoing good works of the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home. As members of a great church, we can take pride in exceeding our goal last year. The children at FUMCH are asking for our continuing help.  Help show the children the love of Jesus Christ made real.

But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the Kingdom of Heaven. Matthew 19:14
